My work spans more than twenty years in social services, community support, and now psychotherapy. I have supported: people with disabilities, at-risk youth, Indigenous individuals, families involved with child and family services, people navigating addiction, trauma, anxiety and depression, leaving family violence, moving through grief, death and dying, and other major life transitions. I work with individuals, couples, children, teens, parents, seniors, and/or families. I bring scholarship, intuition, lived experience, humility, and an unapologetically human presence into the therapeutic relationship. I am interested not only in what has happened to you, but in what your experience has taught you—and what may become possible when you remember your purpose, reclaim your inner wisdom, and begin consciously authoring your story.
I am also the mother of two beautiful daughters, and becoming their mother was one of the most profound and formative initiations of my life. Pregnancy brought me into direct relationship with the Earth, duality, and ancient intelligence of the body. Giving birth changed the way I understood the power of my body and the human form. Motherhood has continued to shape who I am as a person, a shaman, a therapist, deepening my capacity for trust in the great mystery that is life.
